Testnet Phase 1

The Laïka Testnet Phase 1 will allow users to interact with EVM capabilities of the Laïka Layer2. In Phase 1 Laïka will operate with partial consensus thus acting like a standalone chain for without need for validation on Layer 1 Dogecoin (these will be verified as a single batch once phase 2 is activated).

The phase 1 of the Laïka Testnet will launch with the following applications:

• Laïka Faucet to claim Doge on Laïka Testnet

• Laïka Explorer for users to view their transactions, view contract interactions and more.

• Laïka RPC Endpoints which can be used by any EVM compatible wallet to connect to Laïka Testnet.

• dApps

Fees in the network is paid in Doge, users are allowed to claim 5 Doge every 12 hrs from the faucet, they can then use these to trade and get tokens currently deployed on the testnet or use them to create their own smart contracts, NFTs and more.
